During my postdoc, I was Instructor of Record for the “Advanced Topics in Modern Biology: Evolutionary Developmental Biology” undergraduate class. I designed and taught this upper-level undergraduate discussion-based course two times during Summer Session 2023. We covered nine papers using various model systems with studies taking place in various locations around the world.

During my postdoc, I led a discussion group on papers in evolutionary developmental biology when it was started by Professor Emma Farley and Professor Jim Posakony. We discussed two papers each month for 2 years. I reviewed the literature, picked the papers to read, and led the discussion.
