Granton Jindal

I am currently an Assistant Project Scientist at UC San Diego in Prof. Emma Farley’s lab in the Departments of Medicine and Molecular Biology. I study how mutations in genomes affect embryonic development.

Previously, I graduated from Princeton University in 2017 with a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering. I worked with Prof. Stas Shvartsman and Prof. Becky Burdine on analyzing pathogenic MEK variants during zebrafish embryonic development. Before that, I graduated from Caltech in 2012 with a B.S. in Bioengineering. I am originally from New Jersey, and for fun I enjoy playing tennis, cooking vegetarian food, and hiking.
